Trainers: Maša Žvelc, Gregor Žvelc, Edward C. Watkins
The course is based on an integrative relational approach to psychotherapy supervision (Gilbert & Evans, 2008; Erskine, 2015; Žvelc, 2017), as well as on mindfulness- and compassion-oriented integrative supervision (Žvelc & Žvelc, 2024), and contemporary theory and research on supervision (Watkins, 2020, 2024). This course builds on previous trainings led by Joanna Hewitt Evans and the late dr. Ken Evans (recipient of the Maslow Award for Contributions to Psychotherapy, 2015). It is a transtheoretical training programme open to psychotherapists and counsellors from various psychotherapy approaches.
The training leads to a Diploma in Supervision, awarded by the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. The course is accredited by the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy (EAIP) (https://www.euroaip.eu/eaip-accredited-supervision-programs) and leads to the EAIP supervision certificate (for psychotherapists who are ECIP holders). The course also provides hours of supervision of supervision within the International Integrative Psychotherapy Association (IIPA) and European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA).
The course is recommended for qualified and experienced psychotherapists from different psychotherapy approaches, normally three years post-qualification.
